CIS PROTECTION OFFICERS
CIS is unlike any other security company in Alberta.  Our members are all serving or former law enforcement officers who have undergone extensive background clearances at the highest government level in addition to the SSIA screening process.  Unlike most security companies, CIS officers have proven law enforcement training and experience in Alberta.   The average CIS officer undergoes a stringent screening process and a minimum of 3 - 6 months of rigorous POLICE or PEACE OFFICER training at a real law enforcement academy and has at least 3 years of working, street experience.  Our Officers are the best trained in the industry. All CIS Officers undergo extensive internal training programs and are conflict management and crisis intervention specialists.  Our staff are all control tactics and use of force trained to a Police/Peace Officer level and authorized to carry impact weapons, however; we operate on a minimal use of force policy and only carry use of force tools at the customer's request.  We operate on a customer service level, and choose to use positive communication, rather than intimidation.  Officers are professional and respectful at all times.
